Hearts of Oak midfielder Uriah Asante returned to full scale training on Wednesday ahead of the weekend's clash with Asante Kotoko.

The 19-year-old came off injured after just thirty minutes in last Sunday's 3-0 win over All Stars.

It was initially feared that the ex Pure Joy player will be sidelined for weeks after being stretched off clutching his groin just after winning a controversial penalty for his side.

Asante has however made a rapid recovery to put himself in contention for Sunday’s big Ghanaian derby against the league leaders in Kumasi.

Striker Mahatma Otoo and right-back Ahmed Soulama also return after sitting out the All Stars game through suspension and illness respectively.

The return of the trio will certainly serve a massive boost to the Phobians who aim to claim yet another victory over their arch rivals at their own backyard.
