Asante Kotoko play Great Olympics in Accra for Independence Cup trophy

Struggling Asante Kotoko will be in Accra to face Great Olympics on Friday afternoon in the 2015 Independence Cup.

Kotoko are experiencing a slump in form as they lie 13th on the league table after nine rounds of matches.

The match will form part of their home league match against Medeama on Sunday.

Stop-gap coach Michael Osei is unlikely to field his first team players in anticipation of a crunch league match.

Olympics, 15th on the league table, could field recently acquired Dan Quaye, Godwin Attram and Richard Kingson.
