Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have registered Rashid Sumaila and Mark Sekyere in their 29-man squad for the 2014/2015 season.

Sumaila is re-joining the club after he was unregistered by South African side Mamelodi Sundowns for the first half of the Premier Soccer League season.

The move is to allow him to remain active until the January transfer window opens.

Also, former ASEC Mimosas midfielder Mark Sekyere has been registered but details of his move remain undisclosed.

Kotoko’s current squad includes 17 players who were with the double winning team for last season.

Of the 12 new players, three have previously had stints with the club.

Kotoko must defend their league and FA Cup titles this season and also play in the qualifiers of the 2015 CAF Champions League next year.
