Giants Asante Kotoko are the highest ranked Ghanaian club in Africa after a recent rating by Footballdatabase.com ranked them 34th.

Also, Real Tamale United, who are in the second-tier league, are at the foot of the ranking in 415th place.

The Porcupine Warriors amassed 1432 points after the ranking was updated after matches played on 19 October, 2014.

Another Ghanaian club in the Top 50 is 1997 CAF Champions League runners-up AshantiGold who are ranked 50th with 1404 points.

Berekum Chelsea, who won the Ghana Premier League in 2011 and reached the Group stage of the CAF Champions the following year are in the 62nd position.

2010 champions Aduana Stars are 75th, Hearts of Oak 85th followed by Medeama SC (110th), Heart of Lions (131st), Wa All Stars (139th), Liberty Professionals (148th) and Ebusua Dwarfs (154th).

TP Mazembe lead the ranking system with 1609 points; followed by Sudanese side Al Merreikh and DR Congo outfit AS Vita Club.
