Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko have advanced with negotiations tie powerful defender Abeiku Ainooson to a new deal, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.Â
Representatives of the center-back and Kotoko officials have been locked in negotiations over a new deal.
The defender's local agent - Kurt Okraku has assured he interested in renewing his contract with Kotoko.
"He plays regularly and appreciates the platform the club has given him. He'll never turn his back to the club," he said.
To put it on record, Abeiku has not said he will not renew his contract with."
Abeiku Ainooson joined Kotoko from New Edubiase United two seasons ago and his contract is set to run out at the end of the current season.
