Asante Kotoko are considering an annual US$ 340,000 kit sponsorship deal by Singaporean manufacturing company Kubba.

The club have confirmed that Acting General Manager, Opoku Nti and Operations Manager, George Kennedy met an official of the kit manufacturing company at the club’s secretariat in Kumasi last Friday.

The purpose of the meeting was to examine samples of the kits Kubba intends to give to Kotoko next season.

Kotoko have expressed satisfaction with the quality of the items presented by the company.

“The jerseys are of good quality and the package they are offering looks attractive. We have to consider other things carefully before a final decision is taken,” Kennedy said.

Nti also added:  “The products are good but we will talk more on some aspects of the contract. For instance, we have to buy replica jerseys – about 20,000 pieces and sell to our fans. For a start, we want to buy about 5,000 so this is an aspect we will discuss with them.”

Kotoko are currently without a kit sponsor and might be forced to accept the proposal from Kubba ahead of the start of the new season.
