Asante Kotoko have returned to the country on Sunday night after their big performance in Algeria where they played out a 0-0 draw game against MC El Eulma in the CAF Champions League first qualifying round first leg tie.
Kotoko have struggled domestically after a sluggish start which has seen them plunged into the relegation but put up a defensive masterclass to survive.
Their performance in Algeria coupled with the arrival of David Duncan is however expected to lift the gloom and kick start their flattering campaign.
“We gave a good performance in Algeria and the entire team gave their all in what was a difficult game,†Opoku Nti told GHANASoccernet.com
“We are back and the attention is simply to build on the performance and continue to improve.â€
Kotoko are 14th on the league log with 11 points after ten round of games.
