Asamoah looking to get one over Chilean friends

Kwadwo Asamoah is willing Ghana to beat Chile in Wednesday’s international friendly to help him win a debate at his club, Udinese.

The midfielder will get the chance to settle the age-old debate of which side reins superior when he reunites with his former Udinese teammate Alexis Sanchez in the game being played in Philadelphia.

Asamoah’s other club teammate Mauricio Isla will however miss the friendly through injury but the 23-year-old is looking to hold all bragging rights by the time he returns to Italy.

"This match will settle the debates between me on one side, and Sanchez and Isler on the other," Asamoah said ahead of the match.

"We continuously argue over which country has the best team."

"It is sad that Isla is not here because of his injury but Sanchez is here so the Black Stars are up for it.

"For me this match means more than a friendly because we have to please our fans back home and also finally settle the debates with my two Chilean friends."
