Kwadwo Asamoah has expressed his delight at joining Juventus and says it is time to notch up his game to an all new level.

The Ghana international made these comments during his first official press conference at the club on Friday afternoon ahead of his first official training session with the side.

The 23-year-old sealed his dream move to the Old Lady from Udinese in a move reportedly worth 9m Euros for 50% of Asamoah’s transfer rights alongside Chilean Mauricio Isla.

And after receiving a rapturous welcome from the fans and being handed the number 22 jersey, the former Liberty Professionals player says it is time to repay the faith reposed in him by the reigning Serie-A champions.

“I am delighted to be here, Juventus are a very important team and I’ll give my all to be of use to this side,” he said at his first official press conference for Turin club.

“The fans’ welcome was great. I’m proud to be here. Juventus are a reality in Italy and all over the World.

“I need to do more here than I’ve done up until now.”

Asamoah becomes the second Ghanaian to play for Juventus following former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah.

The club’s impressive off-season activities is a clear indication of their intention to retain the Scudetto this term while mounting a serious challenge in the next Uefa Champions League.

Just shut up and let your hard work do the talkig. You have been overated in my view but its down to u to prove what youve got and stop talking too much! Jeve is a big team and you have to work hard to break into their squad in the first place otherwise you may even loose your place in the Black Stars!!

K Asamoh I have admired and loved your game ever since I saw you play in the world cup. I admired you more when you gave up the 10 to Dede. You knew your quality and you believed in yourself. Your game is fine just do what you have been doing. Play because you enjoy and love the game. Do not try to notch up your game because you have a bigger contract with Juve. Play like you did when you were at Udinese. Remember they signed you up just the way you were so do not try to change to please anyone or else you will lose yourself and that will be a tragedy for those of us who enjoy watching you play.

This shows you are not a coward afriad to take a chellenge.I know you will win titles and make name for mother Ghana.@ Adom you can insult Asamoah when he plays for Ghana but when it comes to his club business you have to shut up.Asamoah is one of the guys i like cos he doesn’t talk too much nor complain about silly things. We will watch you progress and wish you all the best.
