Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has been ruled out of Al Ainââ¬â¢s next league match against Emirates on Wednesday after picking up an injury last Friday.
The 28-year-old picked up a suspected knee injury in Al Ainââ¬â¢s 3-1 win over Al Dhafra last Friday in the UAE top flight.
Al Ain first team doctor Boban Dangobek confirmed their lethal striker is expected to be out for a week after undergoing radiation tests on Sunday.
Details of Gyanââ¬â¢s injury was not given.
Dangobek has however designed an intensive treatment schedule for the Black Stars captain to enable him recover well in time for the sideââ¬â¢s big league clash away to Al Ahli on October 27.
Gyan joins the likes of Jires Keembo and Omar Abdulrahman on the treatment table at Al Ain.
