By Patrick Akoto

Asamoah Gyan has rejoined Al Ain ahead of their Etisalat Pro-League game against Al Ittihad Kalba on Sunday.

The 26-year-old touched base in the United Arab Emirates on Friday after spending a week in Ghana to mark the one-week celebration of his late mother.

The Ghana captain is expected to spearhead Al Ain’s attack as they host Kalba at the Tahnoun Bin Mohamed Stadium.

“It’s going to be a difficult game but I’m ready to play on Sunday,” Gyan told GHANAsoccernet.com

He grabbed a brace in their last encounter against Al-Shabab to move to the goal scorers’ chart with 14 goals from seven games.
