Asamoah Gyan pledges to promote world title fight in Ghana

Asamoah Gyan has promised to promote a first ever world title bout in Ghana once Emmanuel Tagoe makes it that far, according to reports in the Ghanaian media.

The Black Stars captain is ready to invest millions of dollars to bring a world title fight to Ghanaians in the near future.

Gyan is is heavily involved in Ghanaian boxing with his Baby Jet Promotions – a subsidiary of his Asamoah Gyan Foundation.

The syndicate has already thrilled Ghanaians by promoting two fight nights in Ghana.

The Baby Jet Promotions are also responsible for the management of world title hopeful Emmanuel Tagoe.

The ‘Game Boy’ will be fighting American Geraldo Robles this weekend in an IBF Inter-Continental Super Featherweight bout in the US.

This fight will take the young Ghanaian boxer close to world championship fight if he manages to secure victory this weekend.

And his boss and pal; Asamoah Gyan is ready to finance that potential world title bout in Ghana.
