Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has arrived at the team's pre-Nations Cup training camp in Abu Dhabi after missing Saturday's training session.

Gyan sought permission from the Ghan FA to delay because of urgent family matters.

The Al Ain striker will train with the team for the first time on Sunday at the Zayad City Sports Complex.

Gyan's presence has increased the number of players to 24 leaving injured midfielder Andre Ayew as the only player to touch base in the Gulf.

Ghana have 11 days to fine tune preparations before the tournament starts in South Africa on 19 January.

They will play Egypt and Tunisia in Nations Cup warm-up matches next week at their camping base.
