Asamoah fails to glitter as Juventus slump at Milan

Kwadwo Asamoah had his poorest game of the season as Juventus slumped to a 1-0 defeat at AC Milan on Sunday.

The Ghana international’s final ball delivery was very suspect though his work rate was laudable in the game played at the San Siro.

The Italian champions failed to replicate their outstanding midweek performance against Chelsea and succumbed to a 31st minute penalty by Robinho.

Asamoah was nowhere near the form that has made him the toast of the supporters.

He eventually had to make way in the 72nd minute for striker Paul Pogba.

Juventus however maintained their lead in Serie-A despite the crucial loss to Milan.

The Bianconeri are four points clear of second-placed Fiorentina after 14 matches.
