Arsenal's Zak Ansah gutted over Ghana U20 chop for FIFA World Cup
Zak Ansah failed to make Ghana's squad for the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup.

Arsenal youth star Zak Ansah admits he is disappointed for not making Ghana's U20 World Cup squad but he is backing the team for success in Turkey.

The 19-year-old did not make the provisional team of coach Sellas Tetteh for the team's training camp in Italy.

And the disappointed Ansah who arrived in Ghana for the first time in his life to join the Black Satellites' preparations has wished the team well as they move into the final phase of preparations ahead of the World Cup.

"Of course I am disappointed but that is football, I will now have to go back to Arsenal and work on my game in order to improve," he said.

"Though I am not part of the team I am wishing the them well and I hope the boys return from the World Cup as champions."

The Ghana U20 team left Accra on Thursday night to their training camp in Novara, Italy.

Games against Egypt, Brazil and Kosovo have been lined up to get the team battle ready ahead of the start of the World Cup on June 21.
