Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has told Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong he is not in his plans this season and has asked to him a new club, according reports in the British media.

The Gunners have also resolved not to offer a new contract to the 21-year-old former England U16 captain whose contract runs out this summer.

Crisis-hit Fulham will not bid for the midfielder but reports in England says Cardiff City and Norwich City might table an offer for him.

Frimpong has been with Arsenal since he was 9 but has made a grand total of six Premier League appearances. After loan spells at Wolves, Charlton and Fulham, and some unfortunate injuries, Frimpong now seems more interested in social media than playing football.

Frimpong is capped just once by Ghana since snubbing England to play for the West African country where he comes from and must improve his club form to stand any chance of making the Ghana squad for the 2014 World Cup.
