Emmanuel Frimpong to be axed by Arsenal in January

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has told Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong he is not in his plans this season and has asked to him a new club, according reports in the British media.

The Gunners have also resolved not to offer a new contract to the 21-year-old former England U16 captain whose contract runs out this summer.

Crisis-hit Fulham will not bid for the midfielder but reports in England says Cardiff City and Norwich City might table an offer for him.

Frimpong has been with Arsenal since he was 9 but has made a grand total of six Premier League appearances. After loan spells at Wolves, Charlton and Fulham, and some unfortunate injuries, Frimpong now seems more interested in social media than playing football.

Frimpong is capped just once by Ghana since snubbing England to play for the West African country where he comes from and must improve his club form to stand any chance of making the Ghana squad for the 2014 World Cup.

Am not sure if Frimpong is really a footballer…. Or could be he does not want to grow up like peers at Arsenal, or he does not really care about playing football.

If he really wants to play football, he must watch the time he spends on the social media and stay focused. That he is a great talent can not be denied, at 21, he needs to be a bit more serious. As his contract runs out by June, he can negotiate with any club come January. He can make it at any mid-table club in the EPL.Best of luck and stay Deeeench.

  4. DOGO says:

He better show some maturity and concern about his profession otherwise he will rot on the bench. Just be proactive and move from Asenal.

  5. Boro says:

He once said what people do not know about him is that he can also play like Messi. Hahaha isn’t it funny? I am not sure this guy can ever play at the highest level. He may do well in one of the conference teams but not in the premiership.

  6. askantwi says:

He is a super star who is fit to play in the premier league 10 times over, but the social media stuff is undermining him. He should stay away from it and the dangerous women hoovering around him.

racist english, just sabotaging him because he chose to play for Ghana. they wanted him to think foolishly like Welbeck. God punish them, he will find a club and play better football. kwasea fuoooo!
