Berekum Arsenal squeezed out a point at Lions

Berekum Arsenal squeezed out a priceless point from the Kpando Park after holding Heart of Lions to a pulsating 1-1 in mid-week.

Midfielder Isaac Asare put the Gunners into the lead in the 40th minute but Prosper Avor cancelled out the lead four minutes after the break.

Henry Yartey produced some scary moments for Lions with two impressive drives at goal.

Arsenal looked threatening and promising in attack and their persistent pursuit of the opening goal was rewarded five minutes from the break.

Isaac Asare scored with a powerful low drive from the edge of the box five minutes before the interval.

Lions came into the second-half revitalised and restored parity through Prosper Avor.
