Arsenal boss Wenger happy with Frimpong Fulham move

Emmanuel Frimpong has joined Fulham on loan

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is pleased with Emmanuel Frimpong’s loan move to Fulham.

The 21-year-old will stay with Fulham until the end of the campaign, with Wenger keen for the midfielder to prove his credentials.

“At the moment he has many players in front of him and he is at an age where he needs to play,” the manager told the Official Arsenal Matchday Programme.

“I am 100 per cent convinced he has the quality to play in the Premier League. He comes back from injury, the players in front of him are fit and he’s a bit stuck there. I want to give him an opportunity to play.”
