Anthony Annan will be fit for AFCON
Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says Anthony Annan’s injury sustained during Thursday’s friendly against Egypt is not serious.
The midfielder was substituted after just 26 minutes when he suffered a knock and landed awkwardly following a tackle.
He was replaced by Derek Boateng as Ghana went on to win 3-0 at the Zayed Sports Complex in Abu Dhabi .
“It’s not that big,” Kwesi Appiah told the press in a post game interview about Annan’s injury.
“He didn’t land well but according to the doctor, it’s not a big deal. He should be up training tomorrow[Friday] or the next day.”
Annan will be making his fourth appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations.
THANK GOD. WISH HIM A SPEEDY RECOVERY. HE IS THE BEST 6 WE HAVE.
