Anthony Annan helped Vitesse Arnhem to qualify for this season's Europa League
Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan could see his permanent stay at Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem fall through after the club hired a new coach.
The 24-year-old played on loan with the Vitas from German giants Schalke 04 under coach John van den Brom who has joined Belgian side Anderlecht.
The next season’s Europa League campaigners were reportedly preparing a €1.5 million bid for the former Rosenborg BK player.
But Brom’s exit from the club could scamper the move as a yet-to-be-named coach might not favour a move to sign the diminutive midfielder.
Annan earned 24 appearances for Vitesse last season.
