Anthony Annan returned to training with Osasusa team-mates at the club's grounds
Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan returned to training with Spanish club Osasuna on Wednesday after a three-month absence.
The enforcer trained with the club for the first time since leaving for the Africa Cup of Nations on 22 December.
The tournament in South Africa ended last month but he was not able to return because of problems with his work permit in Spain.
The Spanish embassy in Accra managed to secure the wok permit for him, allowing Annan to arrive at the club’s training ground on Wednesday morning.
Annan had been in Ghana since his return from the Africa Cup of Nations where he suffered an ankle injury while playing for the Black Stars ahead of the tournament.
He has now rejoined the squad to boost them ahead of the weekend’s clash against Real Betis.
