Andre Ayew's season made complete by sealing World Cup place

Ghana's World Cup-bound midfielder Andre Dede Ayew says his season was made complete after making the final 23-man squad for the Fifa World Cup finals.

The 20-year-old was a member of Ghana squad that reached the final of the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola early this year and played a key role in his club's promotion to the French Ligue 1.

"I think every player's dream is to play in the World Cup and this will make my season complete for me. I'm 20 going to the World Cup is a dream come true," Ayew told Ghanasoccernet.com

"I celebrated us playing at the final of the Nations Cup and quickly had to forget about and helped Arles Avignon to qualify to the Ligue 1 but the World Cup is the big deal.

"But I can't be complacent. I have keep striking and justifying myself because the level of competition will be high. I hope to do my very best."

Ayew captained Ghana's youth team to win the 2009 Africa and World Youth trophies.
