Andre Ayew scored an injury time goal to hand Marseille a precious 2-2 draw at Fenerbache in the group phase of the Uefa Europa League on Thursday night.

The Ghanaian superstar was once again the hero as he headed home the equalizer in injury time to snatch the precious away point.

The Turkish heavyweights cruised to a two-goal lead courtesy Erkin and Alex in the 28th and 57th minutes respectively and looked certain to pick the maximum points against the French giants.

But the Lique 1 side responded positively in the second half at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium as Valbuena reduced the deficit in the 83rd minute after a sublime pass from Ayew.

Just as the game was heading for a defeat for Marseille, the Black Stars winger popped up to head from a Valbuena’s corner kick to snatch the crucial equalizer for the side as their host failed to clear their lines.

Ayew is beginning to hit the keynote after recovering from a problematic shoulder injury.
