Andre Ayew was left utterly frustrated after Marseille lost 2-1 a home to Napoli in the Uefa Champions League and wants the team to gaze their focus on the domestic League.
The Ghanaian international scored a superb consolation for the French giants as they went down 2-1 against the Italian side at the Stade Velodrome.
Marseille are now without a point in group F and the 23-year-old was livid with their performance and urged the team to forget about this season’s Champions League.
“It is disappointing,” he said after the game. “What can we say more than what has already been said? It’s not helpful.”
“We are facing a difficult period. We should probably avoid listening to what is said elsewhere; get into our bubble to digest this defeat and to prepare more seriously against Reims.”
