Andre Ayew will discover the extent of the injury he suffered to his left foot during Marseille 2-0 defeat at Paris St-Germain in the Coupe de la Lique.
The 22-year-old picked up the problem in the 20th minute but played through the pain barrier until he was replaced by brother Jordan in the 66th minute.
Ayew will undergo medical examination on Thursday where is expected to know the extent of damage to his left foot.
The Black Stars winger recently recovered from a three-month lay off with a problematic shoulder injury.
He has since failed to rediscover the form that made him one of Marseille stand-out players last season and the latest injury will be a source of worry to Ghana trainer Kwesi Appiah, with barely three months for the start of the 2013 African Cup of Nations.
A goal in each from Thiago Silva and Jeremy Menez broke Marseille four-year winning run in the Coupe de la Lique on Wednesday night.
