Andre Ayew tips Ghana to douse Malawi's Flames

Posted On Wednesday, 10th October 2012

Andre Ayew says the Black Stars will advance ahead of Malawi to the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations

Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew believes they hold the aces to qualify to the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations finals at the expense of Malawi.

The Olympique Marseille is among the Black Stars 21-man squad preparing for the return leg final round qualifier on Saturday.

Ghana have a 2-0 lead from the first and the Marseille talisman has no doubt about their qualification chances.

“We have the best chance to qualify and will not take Malawi for granted,” the 22-year-old said.

“We are in a confident mood going into the match and am very sure we will be in South Africa come 2013.

“We have a better advantage going into the match having won 2-0 in the first leg. We will need to protect that cushion and also attack for the killer goal.

“We have a good opportunity of advancing. What is required from us is to remain focused and not lose our heads in such a crucial decider.”

Ayew goes into the match after an impressive display for his French Ligue 1 side against rivals PSG on Sunday which the 2-2 draw.

@nwankwo, remember it wasn’t only a Ghanaian president that died but Yara Dua, Levi form zambia, and even Abacha and others also died. Ghana’s prez died of throat cancer. But up to now, what killed Abacha and Yara Dua is yet to be disclosed.

I pity you for coming to a renowned website to give a false info about the death of a prez that you know nothing about. Please go back to school and be taught well on how to do factual research on issues bothering society and stop exposing your naivety, ignorance and narrow-mindedness at reputable places

Additionally, please, go back to the elders who knows what culture means and learn how to show respect to leaders, elders and people who GOD has ordained as overseers
