Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew says all matters which led to his temporary retirement from the Black Stars have been nipped in the bud.
The Olympique Marseille ace is making a return to team for Friday’s crucial Brazil 2014 qualifier against Zambia in Kumasi.
He claimed strained relationship with some management members was behind his decision to step down from the national team six months ago.
“It was something I missed a lot. I learnt how it is important to play for the country,” Ayew exclusively told Joy Sports .
“What happened has happened. It is passed and now we are going forward to win the game.”
The 23-year-old arrived in Accra on Monday night to join the team’s preparations to face the Chipolopolo.
