Andre Ayew wants to remain at Marseille
Andre Ayew has no plans of leaving Marseille in January following growing reports over his long-term future.
The French giants could bow to pressure to sell one of their prize assets in January to balance their books.
English outfit Arsenal are believed to be keen on the services of the player and wants to capitalise on the difficult financial situation of Marseille to entice him to leave the Stade Velodrome.
Manager Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of the talented Ghana star and has not hidden his desire to bring him to the Emirates stadium.
But the 22-year-old says he’s unware of the decision of president Vincent Labrune to sell him to offset their bills.
“I was not aware of Labrune’s words. I am feeling very well at Marseille,” Ayew said
“If the club has decisions to make and want to sell, we will have to get together and discuss the matter.
“However, I repeat that I am happy here. I’m on my way back and I am completely focused on doing well with Marseille.”
He is contracted to the club till June 2015.
