Ghanaian midfielder Andre Ayew has been one of the top players for Marseille this season
Ghanaian midfielder Andre Ayew says his French club Marseille prefer to remain focused on themselves than to think of PSG just two weeks before their Clasico clash.
Marseille confirmed their brilliant start to the season on Sunday against Evian, stringing together their sixth consecutive victory in the Championship.
This came after Marseille accessed plenty of their resources three days earlier against Fenerbahçe in the Europa League.
Elie Baup’s men were able to draw on their reserves to continue their fine form, again showing impeccable team spirit that has kept them top of the table.
And while Paris Saint-Germain’s visit to the Stade Vélodrome is looming on the horizon, the Ghana international prefers not to get too carried away.
“At the moment, they are busy finding their effectiveness and their game, but we are not thinking about PSG or Lyon, we are thinking about ourselves,” commented the international Ghanaian.
