Andre Ayew hints at West Ham United switch

Posted On Wednesday, 21st November 2012

Andre Ayew wants to play for English side West Ham United

Ghana winger Andre Ayew has admitted that he is interested in moving to English Premier League side West Ham United in January.

The Marseille star has been on the radar of a number of Premier League sides in England including Arsenal and Liverpool along with his younger brother Jordan.

The 22-year-old, who is yet to hit his peak for the French giants this term has admitted the two brothers would welcome a move to the Hammers.

“We are very interested in playing abroad one day in our career,” said Ayew.

“There is no official bid from West Ham and if there is a possibility of one arriving, we will speak to our advisors.

West Ham are an excellent team.”

Manager Sam Allardyce is believed to be a huge admirer of the talented player and is preparing a massive bid to swoop for the Ghanaian international.

Ayew has the temperament to shine at the grandest of  stages and a potential move to the EPL will enhance his career greatly.

  6. Maxwell Johnson says:

WH is too mediocre, you’re too good to play for such team. It will be better to stay @ OM and enjoy European football regularly every season than move to a mid-table club like WH.

  7. NANA YAW says:

Ghana has got good talents to represent us for any tournament. Discipline is what we need in the senior national team. From the FA and the entire team. The footballers must know that they are doing nothing but a national assignment. No need to be upset if your colleague wrongs you, first think of the Nation(GHANA). And leave all the rest to GOD, I am looking forward to Dede Ayew he has been very selfish in our games lately. GOD BLESS GHANA!
