Andre Ayew says he is fully fit to play in Saturday’s 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Malawi.
The 22-year-old took part in Wednesday’s trainng between ranks at the Accra Sports stadium as the Black Stars prepare to host The Flames.
Andre has not really clicked into full gear since the start of the French Lique campaign since he recovered from a troublesome shoulder injury.
But the Marseille talisman says he is getting back to his best.
“I am much better. I am getting better bit by bit and hopefully I should be available for the game against Malawi,” Ayew said
“If we want to win this game, we have to remain focus and do the business,”
“It has not been easy to recover from those injuries but like I said I am getting back to my best.,”
“The squad should just continue to push me and that way we can all do our best to win the game on Saturday.”
The Ghanaians need a resounding victory against their opponent to make the second leg in Lilongwe in October a mere formality.
The team will travel to Monrovia for a friendly against Liberia September 11.
