Olympique Marseille boss Elie Baup is waiting for news on the fitness of star winger Andre Ayew as his side make their Ligue 1 trip to Evian TG on Sunday.

The 23-year-old missed training on Friday morning due to a knock he suffered at training during the course of the week.

Marseille team doctors will further assess the condition of Andre later on Saturday to see if there is an improvement in his hematoma.

Boss Elie Baup says he will have to wait to for good news on Andre’s situation.

“Andre Ayew received a big blow on his foot and cannot wear his shoe because of the hematoma. We will see and wait until the last minute,” he told OM.net.

If cleared to play, Andre will go all out to impress as he scored an own-goal last weekend.

THE KUMASI COACH LET GHANA DOWN BY SACKING AYEW BROTHERS FROM THE BLACK STARS…NOW HE GOT WHAT HE WISHED FOR.

  2. mukmin says:

Yeah the kept saying Dede and his brother caused division. The catch phrase for is tourney was “the team is united” a form of innuendo to suggest the team was united without them, well where did that unity get them, shambolic and inconsistent perf

    • ndoodoo says:

say it again mukmin, it was clear this “unity” thing was about the absence of the ayew brothers. in any case, why have we changed the designation from coach to manager? and here we were globe trotting and begging kpb and baloteli to play for ghana when we cannot manage the ayews. nonsensical, don’t you think?

  3. Master k says:

@mukmin ghana got to the same stage last year with the ayew brothers. If the win tomorrow it next the hot a step further with them. Stop talking rubbish my friend. Ghana us bigger than them two boys. Respect the team

    • Carbonite says:

In 2012, that foolish Asamoah Gyan missed a CLEAN not FAKE AWARM penalty before Zambia gained confidence and went on to score the solitary goal. In addition, we played better football, battled better teams and scored most of our goals in OPEN play! No referee favoured us – in fact, they even “cheated” us like they did to Burkina Faso. Let no idiot compare last year to this year!

Ayew took us to the semis when he scored against Tunisia! All the team stood up to celebrate EXCEPT asamoah Gyan!!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhnInwIwFKc 2:12
