Bechem United team manager Francis Bruce-Thompson, whose right leg was amputated four months ago, has obtained a prosthetic leg.

Goal.com Ghana has reported that prosthetists at the St. John's of God Hospital in Duayaw-Nkwanta helped to replace his lost limb.

“I’m very happy after successfully replacing my amputated leg,” Bruce-Thompsom told Goal Ghana.

“Now I can administer my duties [team manager] with ease. It's always a good moment to recover from a serious setback like this in life.”

“Many thanks to the owner of Bechem United Kingsley Owusu Achew and the entire team for their support during the hard times.”

Thompson, a former employee at Hearts of Oak and Liberty Professionals, will return to his post for the 2014/2014 season.
