Amponsah-Karikari scores for Degerfors in Swedish second-tier

Kwame Amponsah-Karikari in action for Degerfors

Striker Kwame Amponsah-Karikari returned from injury to score the match winner for Degerfors in their 2-1 victory over Trellesborgs in the Swedish Superettan on Monday.

The 20-year-old AIK Stockholm loanee steered home a fine effort in the 42nd minute to put Degerfors 2-0 up after Jonas Olsson had opened the scoring.

The former Ghana U20 forward has taken his season tally to five in eleven games for the club.

Amponsah-Karikari was a member of the Ghana U20 team which played at the 2011 African Youth Championship.
