Amponsah-Karikari nets in AIK win over Djurgarden

Posted On Monday, 17th September 2012

Kwame Amponsah-Karikari scored for AIK Stockholm

Striker Kwame Amponsah-Karikari registered his fourth Swedish Allsvenskan goal in AIK Stockholm’s 3-0 win over Djurgarden on Sunday.

Karikari shot AIK ahead four minutes after the break and then set-up the third goal.

The 20-year-old received a through pass from left-back Per Jonas Karlsson before racing clear to place the ball beyond Djurgarden goalkeeper Kenneth Hoie.

Mohamed Bangura doubled the tally for AIK in the 71st minute before Karikari assisted Celso Borges for the third.

Amponsah-Karikari has taken his tally to six in all competitions for AIK since returning on loan from second-tier side Degerfors.

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Yusif Chibsah and Ibrahim Moro were unused substitutes for Djurgarden and AIK respectively.
