Amidaus owner angry over Medeama approach for Yahaya Mohammed

Amidaus Professionals owner Alhaji Baba Gedo Gambo is angry with Medeama bankroller Moses Armah for  enticing Yahaya Mohammed.

The intelligent midfielder has become one of the most sought-after players in the top-flight after an impressive performance for the newly promoted side which has seen him score eight goals in nine matches.

Armah is alleged to have placed a call to the 24-year-old, with a view to lure him to join their ranks during the January transfer window.

The move has angered officials of the Tema-based side with their club owner threatening to take him on by insisting he is not going anywhere.

“They are just making noise and should not even think about it. He (Moses Armah) called the boy but he (Mohammed) has informed me,” Gambo told Kumasi-based Fox FM

“It's wrong and I will take Moses Parker on. He has no right to call the boy. The boy has told me.

“He should forget. They boy is not going anywhere. Yahaya Mohammed belongs to Amidaus Professionals.

“That old approach of enticing players is a thing of the past. I will really take him on because it’s not right. Moses is my friend but it's not right.

The Amidaus chief is the local agent of the ex-Tema Youth man.
