The former Tema Youth man has been anxious to find a club after he was told he was not part of the club’s plans for the upcoming season.

But the Ghanaian champions have agreed to loan out the player to Amidaus for the upcoming season ahead of Friday's transfer deadline.

“Amidaus have spoken with us regarding Yahaya Mohammed. Our administrative manager Ben Nti has been at the centre of the negotiations,” Supporters and Public Relations Manager Listowell Yesu Bukarkson said

“The Executive Board Chairman Dr KK Sarpong has been briefed on the details.

“All of us have decided that he can join Amidaus on season-long loan because the club has expressed interest in signing him.

“So as we speak if he is not in Accra, he should be on his way  to complete the move to Amidaus.

“He will however return to Kotoko to play his third and final season for the club after the completion of his loan move.

“We just want to wish him well and pray that he succeeds.”

The 24-year-old had been expected to join Hearts, having privately expresses a preference for the capital-based club.

But the deal stalled when Hearts and Kotoko could not agree a fee for the player.
