Ex-Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has met the woman touted to be the next America President Hillary Clinton in New York during a conference of campaigners for the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves.

He has joined icons such as compatriot Rocky Dawuni, Zhao Wei and Hilary Clinton for the three-day event to project the brand.

Appiah was unveiled as one of the ambassadors for the brand in Africa in September.

The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves is a public-private partnership hosted by the UN Foundation to save lives, improve livelihoods, empower women and protect the environment by creating a thriving global market for clean and efficient household cooking solutions.
