Oduro Nyarko tears into his misfiring team

All Stars’ Chief Executive Oduro Nyarko has lashed at his side’s strikers – saying they are the reason for the club’s poor form in the Ghanaian top flight.
The Wa-based side are hovering just above the relegation zone on goal difference haven won just three, drawn five and lost a staggering six in the fourteen games played so far.
This is a total departure of the performance of All Stars in recent years where they have competed very strongly especially in the first round of the season.
Oduro Nyarko concedes the performance of his side have been the worst in recent years and puts the blame squarely on his misfiring frontmen.
“This has been our worst season for the past four years or so,” he said.
“I also believe our strikers have not helped matters, because we play all the football but we find ourselves unable to score goals.
“So if anything, I think we will need to bolster our attack, it is an area I believe we are lacking and therefore must strengthen.
“We sometimes get some glaring chances that when given the chance, even me I can score so that tells you we are struggling in that department.”
All Stars must now pick and dust themselves off a crushing 1-0 home defeat to AshantiGold as they travel to take on Heart of Lions this Saturday in their final game of the first round.
