Defensive trio Brahim Zafour, Megatli Amine and Moussa Coulibaly as well as striker Boubacar Bangoura will miss the tie at the Stade de I’Unite Maghrebine stadium due to injuries.

Amine has been ruled out of action for three months while the trio will miss the first leg tie at home but could make a  return for the return leg in Ghana in two weeks time.

The fixture has been characterized by attempts by the host to intimidate their opponent with various tactics.

Kotoko eliminated Equatorial Guinean side Sony Nguema with a resounding 8-0 aggregrate win while their host beat Nigerien side Olympic Niamey 3-0.
