Sampdoria midfielder Alfred Duncan fears AS Roma’s response to their humiliating 7-1 defeat in the Champions League when the two sides meet on Saturday in the Serie A.

The Blucerchiati host the Giallorossi at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris in a crunch league encounter.

Duncan hopes to earn some game time after impressing on his debut in last week in the 2-2 draw at Cagliari.

“Roma lost in the Champions League against Bayern and will want to redeem themselves in the league,” Duncan said in an interview with Sampdoria TV.

“From our side there is a desire to score points and we will do our best to cause trouble.

“I'm happy now. I am working to find more playing time as possible knowing that it will not be easy."

Duncan is on loan from giants Inter Milan.
