Albert Adomah
Albert Adomah scored his first headed goal as a professional on salary and joked: “I’m not just good with my feet, I’m good with my head too”.
The winger scored a diving header in the 70th minute from a Richard Foster cross, in the 3-2 defeat to Leeds United cancelling out El Hadji-Diouf’s opener.
Adomah who is well known for his tricks, admitted he was shocked to see his header hit the back of the net.
“I surprised everyone by scoring with my head; the management, players and myself” Adomah told Bristol City Player
“I was delighted with the goal but we lost, so I can’t be as excited as I would like to be.
“We are scoring lots of goals but we have stop conceding.”
Despite his goal, Adomah feels the team must get back to winning ways at Ashton Gate tomorrow against Millwall (7.45pm).
The winger added: “As a player when you lose you want the next game to come around as soon as possible.
“Even though it’s early in the season we need to stop dropping points.
“We must put a lot of things right against Millwall and hopefully get a win.
“We need to go on a winning run now and we will be looking to start that tomorrow.”
We are all watching your development. Wishing all the best, bang in the goals.
