The manager who signed Albert Adomah to Middlesbrough, Tony Mowbray, has been sacked by the English Championship side.
Mowbray has paid for Boro’s embarrassing 3-2 defeat to bottom-of-the-table Barnsley on Saturday.
It was in that match, the Ghana international scored two late goals.
Assistant manager Mark Venus has taken charge of first-team affairs for the time being.
Adomah, who joined the club this summer, made 11 appearances and scored four goals under the dismissed gaffer.
