Al Ain are plotting to sign exciting Moroccan Adel Taarabt from English club QPR to join Asamoah Gyan in the UAE.

The garden-city club announced earlier in the week of their intention to bring in more quality players to assist their already existing stars as they look to extend their impressive domestic form to continental competitions.

Al Ain have secured back-to-back Pro-League titles but have failed to make similar strides in the Asian Champions League.

The Boss now appear to be more focused on making a huge impact in the Champions League – warranting a move for seasoned players.

Al Ain’s bid to sign Taarabt has been massively helped with revelation of Harry Redknapp’s preparedness to listen to offers for the Moroccan.

The relegated English club wants to slash their huge wage bill by releasing some of their stars as they begin life in the Championship.

The Boss are thus looking to make an offer in the region of £8m to test QPR’s resolve.

If successful, Al Ain will be acquiring another English Premier League legion in recent years following the shock acquisition of Asamoah Gyan from Sunderland in 2012.
