Al Ain boss Olaroiu luring Opoku Agyemang

Posted On Tuesday, 30th October 2012

Opoku Agyemang has revealed the Al Ain boss wants him to join the champs

Ghana attacker Opoku Agyemang has revealed Al Ain boss Cosmin Olaroiu is talking to him to join the UAE champions.

Agyemang, 23, cancelled his three-year-contract with Bulgarian giants Levski Sofia on Monday just five months after signing it.

He reveals, Cosmin Olaroiu, the Al Ain coach, has been urging him to return to the Arabian Peninsula.

“He (Cosmin Olaroiu) coached me when I was at Al Sadd so he has been talking to me to join Al Ain,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.

The Romanian trainer is a long-standing admirer of the former AshGold youngster and believes his extraordinary pace and imposing physique would play a key role in their bid to retain the league title.

  2. kantoose says:

They already got Gyan and other nyatenyate strikers in their team, so why do they want you too? afterall their league is not competitive. If you know whats good for you do not go there oo

  3. Young says:

You’re such a great player when you’re fully fit – I remember you at the Afcon against Ivory Coast when you gave them lots of headache.. please do not join Gyan in that useless league, you have way to much talent and you’re young..

  4. Maxwell Johnson says:

Waaa look!! GH players dey lack vision waaa, aahh!! It will even be better to play in the Bulgarian league than playing in that RUBBISH UAE Pro-league.

  5. ike says:

You try and play in the Eastern European teams and see if you will receive regular salaries! See what has happened to Ex BS Captain Appiah. He played for only 4 months for Serbian giants Vojvodina. Ask me if he has received all his salaries. For only 4 months ooo. And they want him back! Suaaaaaa!!! Come and see the others playing for peanuts and even not receiving pay. They will make you useless! And they want the best from Africa to play for them for free and sell them to the Western teams and fill their pockets!! !! Hmmmmm. Be careful Ghana players who intend to travel to play in these countries!!!!

  6. Mojahadine says:

Some of our Ghanaian players are becoming soccer prostitutes. Its all about the money for them. They will play anywhere for money.

Has anyone noticed, how Asamoah Gyan scores all these goals in UAE but does not score any these days in competitve national tournaments? Can anyone tell me the last time he scored for the Black Stars?
