Akunnor won't overlook Edubiase job

Posted On Thursday, 10th January 2013

C K Akunnor says he is open to Edubiase move

Former Hearts of Oak coach C K Akunnor will not turn down an opportunity to join New Edubiase United.

The 38-year-old has been jobless since parting ways with Hearts in November.

Edubiase are on the verging of sacking their coach Anthony Commey after the club’s poor showing in the Ghanaian Premier League.

Akunnor who has also been linked with a move to Kumasi-based King Faisal, will not overlook a chance to join the MTN FA Cup champions.

“I’m a professional coach and if there is an offer, I will look at it,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

The former Ghana captain has also been linked with a move to Asante Kotoko as assistant coach.
