Jerrry Akaminko has been replaced in Ghana's starting line-up
Defender Jerry Akaminko has lost his place in Ghana’s starting line-up to face Mali on Thursday at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Eskisehirspor centre-back has been replaced by Red Bull Salzburg player Isaac Vorsah who missed the DR Congo match due to a thigh injury.
Akaminko also put up a below par performance as his aberrations denied Ghana victory over the Leopards.
He left Tresor Mputu Mabi to go past him before slotting in to reduce the deficit on 53 minutes after Ghana had gone two-nil up.
Later, he pulled down striker Dieumerci Mbokani inside the box and the Anderlecht ace converted the spot kick to make it 2-2.
Akaminko scored on his Ghana debut in June last year in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Lesotho on home soil.
NOT HIS FAULT:HE WAS NOT TOLD THAT MPUTU WAS A DRIBBLING MAGICIAN AND A GOAL HUNTER.
This chap really cost Ghana and is ok he is paying the price.

How does a good player pool a shirt in the box?
He wasnt that bad against congo.he struggled because Kojo Asamoah was off his left back position so he had to cover that position in addition to marking Mputu.
