Airtel Ghana have launched an initiative to reward customers with a sponsored trip to watch Arsenal Football Club in action at the Emirates.

The initiative forms part of a three-year partnership agreement signed between the English Premier League outfit and the telecommunication giants.

Forty five (45) hospitality packages which includes airline and match tickets, accommodation and transportation is being made available to Airtel distributors, staff, general customer base and high-valued clients.

“Airtel Ghana is not oblivious of the fact that Ghanaians love football and Arsenal is one of the clubs with a considerate following in Ghana,” Head of Corporate and External Affairs of Airtel Ghana Donald Gwira said at the launch.

“So when the opportunity availed itself for our subscribers and Arsenal fans to get the chance to watch their team play in London, we grabbed it knowing that Arsenal fans will be thrilled at this opportunity.”

Airtel subscribers are being urged to enter the competition to win one of the packages by texting to short code ‘ARS 1948’.

Participants will then be asked a series of football related questions after which the contestants with most rights answers will be rewarded with the package.

A first badge of six winners will embark on the maiden trip to the Emirates to watch the Premier League game between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs on November 17.

A series of other badges of winners will then take their turns with the trip before the season ends.

The three year partnership agreement between the two firms is also being run in Nigeria, Zambia, Uganda and Rwanda.
