Ivorian striker Ahmed Toure has passed his medicals at Kotoko and is set to start training with the Porcupine Warriors, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The 27-year-old was allowed to sign a six-figure deal on Monday for three years without undergoing medicals with Kotoko insisting he will pass his medicals.

Toure successfully passed his medicals on Tuesday and is set to join the rest of the Kotoko squad.

Kotoko beat bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak to the signature of their former striker despite featuring for the Phobians in the off-season GHALCA Top-Four.

The Ghanaian champions are also set to wrap up the signing of Aduana Stars defender Godfred Saka by the close of the week.
